NAFAS
NAFAS (the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) is a large national membership organisation formed in 1959. Following some challenges in recent years, the charity recognised the need to review its governance structures and processes.
Ruth carried out a governance review, which included discussions with key personnel, a governance survey, skills and diversity audits, and interviews with trustees to get a full understanding of the situation.
The project resulted in the production of a practical report with recommendations and a facilitated workshop designed to include some training for trustees and support discussion around key topics for development.
“Ruth is an absolute professional – so clear, helpful and methodical. People opened up and were honest with her, which is so important when putting together a review like this. She took the time that was needed and was always available.”
