About

Meet Ruth

Ruth’s main aim is to support charities and not-for-profits to get crystal clear on their goals and create real impact.

With a wealth of experience as a facilitator, trainer, and consultant, Ruth worked for over 20 years in the charity sector in programme management and director roles, and as a trustee – so she brings both hands-on experience and a strategic outlook to her consultancy support.

Ruth’s journey in the voluntary sector began in 2001, as a youth worker. Over the years, Ruth has managed volunteering and corporate partnership programmes, fuelling growth in earned income, and assuming Director roles at national charities.

Ruth has been a trustee for several charities – she is currently the Chair for The Menopause Charity – and holds an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Bayes Business School (part of City University).

Ruth is also a keen volunteer in her local community – founding a Friends group for her local park, raising funds for a new playground, and lending her support to the youth club at her local synagogue. She lives in vibrant Brighton with her husband and two daughters, where she enjoys outdoor swimming, the occasional run, and a spot of gardening when there’s time.

Ruth also works with several associates who she thinks are brilliant, and bring additional expertise and capacity to projects and organisations that we work with.
